The stay was enjoyable with a spacious family room and friendly staff who created a welcoming atmosphere. While the breakfast was excellent, it would be beneficial to have power plugs in the bathroom for convenience. the dinner menu could use more variety for longer stays.

A truly beautiful boutique hotel, set in a charming old manor with historical touches. The dining experience was exceptional, featuring wonderfully prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. The well-curated whisky bar offered a fantastic selection, with knowledgeable staff eager to provide recommendations and insights. Though the room was stylishly updated, the enchanting atmosphere of the house and grounds made it feel like an exclusive escape. The Family Room was really spacious with a high ceiling and a large bathroom, which was a pleasant surprise. Everything felt cozy with good furniture and that homey vibe. The shower was great. Plus, having a small kitchen in the room was pretty cool for making breakfast. It was way nicer than I expected for a small hotel and felt more like a boutique experience than a standard place. Can't complain!

Charming Retreat with Room for Improvement
We appreciated the cozy atmosphere during our stay. The staff were friendly and attentive. the dinner offerings were lacking, especially for vegetarians. A little variety in the menu would make a world of difference. Consider bringing snacks if you're a vegetarian.

perfect spot for exploring stunning landscapes and whisky attractions
We had a lovely stay that allowed us to easily visit Balvenie Castle, just about 6 km away, and take a walk through the beautiful Speyside Gardens of Aberlour, which is almost 3.5 km from our cozy room. The hotel features nice amenities suitable for couples who want a romantic getaway and enjoy the charm of city strolls and historical landmarks, but the room could have benefited from a kettle for our tea.
